A cutting-edge stylist located on Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California, April Tomi was seeking to reinvigorate her brand in a hyper-competitive, fickle marketplace. We created the new brand identity for her business from scratch, turning the A in her name into a blow dryer and crafting the other letters in a script type to serve as a cord and plug. The letters were completely hand-drawn and not based on any existing type to reflect the originality she uses to create every one of her hair stylings.
